How can we radically change the course of a typical at-risk kid? We can't...unless we have your help. Urban churches characteristically are struggling financially and cannot provide transportation, staff, salaries, camps or supplies for their youth. That's where Urban Youth Ministries begins to aid them in their effort fight for souls of these kids.
Unfortunately Urban Youth Ministries is reaching only a small percentage of its potential. Currently Urban Youth Ministries is reaching less than 10% of the at-risk urban youth in metro Denver area. Finite financial resources provide the only major constraint to future growth.
It is our firm hope that those in the Christian community would see our Kingdom strategy as a wise stewardship of God's resources and thus worthy of support. We hope and pray that an increasing number of God's people would become involved in penetrating the godless structures of our society and redeem those who are held captive by the evil one. Through the years we have touched the lives of many thousands of urban young people and their families. We would covet your partnership as we work to make a wider impact.
Dr. John Haggai, founder of the Haggai Institute, said recently that Muslims spent more for the spread of Islam in the state of California than the combined donations of the Protestant and Catholic churches for their worldwide missions programs. Quite convicting. Let us reverse this trend!
